I was lost
in the eyes of the sky
I was told
if I let go you will catch me
but you already have
and I already have
for this moment isn't now
it's a distant memory
somewhere
sometime out in our futures
that we relive
over and over
until it touches these shores
we rest on in the present
and until then
I will swim in the eyes of the sky
in those oceans
